Update Post-modern sex

     I was perusing the Internets, as I often do, and I came across another blog like mine. The author is a women in Philadelphia, who like me, created a profile when she moved to her new city. It seems like she was successful in finding someone, the last update was from July and the last few updates she posted described the dates she'd been on with a particularly promising gentlemen. Must have worked out. Good for her, it gives me hope to see it work for someone else, especially someone who seems to have the same mindset as me about it. More after the jump.


     I gleaned a few things from her blog. First of all, we've done a lot of things the same way. She didn't really post about dates until the relationship had come to an end (since it is a pretty awkward thing). I hope no one I've described on here ever sees this without a proper explanation from me. I think I've been almost exclusively positive about my dates (not that there has been a lot of negative), but this stuff is still pretty personal. She also gave most of her suitors nicknames, though they tended to be, unflattering in the least. The blog does seem to have a different feel about it. Where mine mostly describes dates who've dumped me, she's had to do most of the rejection. I think that has to do with the nature of the website (more guys to girls, and more weird guys, and normal girls) - then the quality of the dater - her stories are very similar to the ones I've heard from my dates about men on the site. Plus just with dating in general.

     Anyway, I did pick up some interesting things from her site. On a couple of her posts she listed "Stats" and pros and cons for the date she was about to have. I'm going to try and add this to my descriptions in the future and I've also added a new Page to my blog. Along the top by Home and About, there's a new page labeled "Scorecard". There you'll find a list of all the people I've been on dates with, or are currently dating, along with a brief description of the suitor, and the Status of the relationship.

     I might expand the section and add girls I'm currently messaging, and allow you guys a bit more interaction with who I choose to message/date. Yeah, that seems like a good idea. I'll probably end up on a date with beard-girl.
